Good news! Zhao Baodan from our college was selected for the 2025 MIT Technology Review "35 Innovators Under 35" global list

On September 8th, the 2025 MIT Technology Review "35 Innovators Under 35" global winners were officially announced, presenting 35 future stars from five major fields: climate and energy, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, materials science, and computational science to the world. Researcher Zhao Baodan from the College of Optical Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University has stood out among hundreds of candidates worldwide with his innovations in light-emitting diodes, which are expected to bring about a new generation of display technologies.

 

MIT Technology Review, as a globally leading technology think tank, is renowned for its acute technological insights. Its "MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35" (abbreviated as "TR35") has been continuously selected for more than 20 sessions and has become one of the most influential evaluation systems for young scientific and technological innovation talents worldwide.
