On the morning of Mar.22,the Executive Vice President of KTH Royal Institute of Technology(KTH) Mikael Lindström and his delegation visited the International Research Center for Advanced Photonics and conducted the Forum of Sino-Swedish Joint Research Center of Photonics. At the meeting,Prof.DAI Daoxin(Dean of the college of Optical Science and Engineering,ZJU),Prof.RUAN Zhichao(College of Optical Science and Engineering,ZJU),Prof.Urban Westergren(KTH) and Prof.Sergei Popov(KTH) shared the latest research achievements in their respective fields, and the atmosphere of on-site exchange was harmonious.
The two sides fully affirmed the achievements of the previous cooperation and looked forward to consolidating and deepening the bilateral cooperation and jointly promoting the future of sustainable development.
Founded in 1827,KTH is the largest and oldest technical institution in Sweden. ZJU established school-level partnership with KTH in 2003,and the two universities established a joint research center for Photonics to carry out cooperation in student exchange programs,joint training programs for bachelor and master's degrees,and dual master's degree programs.
