On September 3, 2023, the ninth General Assembly and the first meeting of the eighth Council of Optical Society of Zhejiang was successfully held in Hangzhou. The meeting elected a new board of directors, standing directors and responsible persons. Among them, Professor Dai Daoxin of our Center was elected as the eighth chairman of Optical Society of Zhejiang, and Professor Ma Yungui was elected as the executive director and secretary general.

Optical Society of Zhejiang is a provincial, academic, public welfare and non-profit legal person social organization registered by law, which is voluntarily formed by optical and optoelectronic related science and technology, education workers and entrepreneurs engaged in photoelectric industry in Zhejiang province. It is an integral part of Zhejiang Science and Technology Association, is the provincial local society of Chinese Optical Society, and is an important social force for the Party and government to develop optics, optical engineering and optoelectronic information technology in Zhejiang Province.
