On December 12, 2019, the first “Belt and Road & BRICS” International Advanced Photonics Forum was successfully held in Qiushi lecture hall of Yuanzheng Hotel, Haining Campus, Zhejiang University. More than 10 experts and scholars from Russia, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Singapore and China and some 30 young teachers and students from College of Optical Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University gathered together to discuss advanced photonics development. The forum was organized by the College of Optical Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University and co-organized by the Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation in Photonics and Technology of the Ministry of Education and the International Joint Research Center for Optoelectronics Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The forum aims to promote countries in the “Belt and Road & BRICS” to consolidate consensus in the field of advanced photonics and continuously deepen exchanges and cooperation in scientific research and talent training.
